Have you noticed a hand above the Diner? Wonder why?
Traditionally, a vote is expressed by the raising of a hand. DC residents are not allowed the privilege of congressional representation that all other Americans enjoy. They do not have a "voting arm."
Give Me a Vote! comments on the lack of ...democratic process available to DC residents. The voting arms represent new hope, and symbolize DC residents requesting the opportunity to practice one of their basic rights as U.S. citizens.
