Give Me A Vote

If you have looked up when entering the Diner lately, you may have wondered “what in the heck that hand is doing up there?”   As District residents know (and hopefully visitors figure out based on DC license plates), we are taxed but not represented.  The hands, found all around town, are symbolic of our demand to have a vote.  The project focuses on using local artists in different mediums to create awareness and dialogue of our desire to raise our hands.  Check out their website for more information.  www.givemeavote.org
