|non|representational photographs
Photography is equal parts therapy, love, and learning for Alex. He had focused on natural scenes and travel photography but has been focusing on abstractions lately. Alex began shooting six years ago on his dad's nikon n70 while walking the dog. His first solo show was photography as painting: an illicit affair, in Chicago in november of 2009.
Alex is a graduate of Rutgers University with a dual degree in philosophy and genetics, and George Washington University law school. He is currently clerking at the US court of appeals for the federal circuit and teaches non-representational photography classes at ArtspaceDC (www.artspacedc.org.). He will be teaching basic photography at St. Elizabeth's hospital in September.
Medias Used: Photography. Primarily equipment is either a Nikon 20-35/2.8, 75-150/3.5, or 50/1.8 lens attached to either a Nikon d90 or f100 camera.
