WiFi Cards
Many businesses now have wireless LANs, so check with your Information Technology (IT) department to learn if your employer can supply you with a card for your laptop or personal digital assistant (PDA).
Notebook PCs from Dell, Compaq, IBM, and Apple are now shipped with pre-installed cards. Please check with your laptop manufacturer to determine if 802.11b is installed on your model.
If you do not have a pre-installed wireless LAN card, you can purchase a Wi-Fi certified 802.11b card from this list of suggested manufacturers.

How to surf at Tryst
The Wireless Internet Access at Tryst is fairly easy to access.
We are currently running a T1 line and 802.11b with no filtering allowing you full access to any of your outside resources.
To ensure access, you must configure your Wi-Fi 802.11b enabled laptop or PDA to access the Tryst HotSpot.
By setting the SSID (or network identifier) in your wireless device to 'tryst', your device can synchronize to the Tryst HotSpot.
